Command Sergeant Major Micheal L. Buxbaum assumed duties as the Tenth Command Sergeant Major of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on 28 April 2008. He hails from Manitowoc, Wisconsin and entered the United States Army in September 1978 at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri as a Combat Engineer. He previously served as the Command Sergeant Major of the 18th Engineer Brigade.
