CSM Danjoint entered the United States Army in Dover, Delaware in August 1992 as a reservist. CSM Danjoint Completed Basic Training at Fort Jackson, SC and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Lee, VA. In 1993 he enlisted in the Regular Army and Completed his second Advanced Individual Training at Fort Belvoir, VA as an 81C, Cartographer and later 12Y Geospatial Engineer. His military education includes all levels of the Noncommissioned

Officers Education System thru the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy, Airborne, Air Assault, Belgian Commando Course and Drill Sergeant School. CSM Danjoint holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Excelsior College.

Assignment Highlights: CSM Danjoint’s assignments, include the 70th Engineer Company, 29th Engineer Battalion, Fort Shafter, Hawaii, the 175th Engineer Company, 30th Engineer Battalion, Fort Bragg, North Carolina as a Cartographer and Squad Leader; the 320th Engineer Company, 130th Engineer Brigade, Hanau, Germany, as a Terrain Analyst, Platoon Sergeant and Geo-Database Manager; the 123rd Engineer Detachment, 1st Calvary Division, Fort Hood, Texas as the Detachment NCOIC; Charlie Battery 1st BN 19th FA, Fort Sill, Oklahoma, as a Drill Sergeant; Delta Battery 1st BN 19th FA, Fort Sill, Oklahoma as a Battery First Sergeant; Echo Company, 169th Engineer Battalion, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri as a First Sergeant; XVIII Airborne Corps GIS NCOIC; Fort Bragg, NC, Student at the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy Class 63; 132nd Engineer Detachment (GPC), as the Detachment Sergeant Major and 169th Engineer Battalion as the Battalion CSM. He has deployed as a part of Operation Restore Democracy and Operation Uphold Democracy 1994, Kosovo in 2000, Operation Iraqi Freedom 2003 and Operation New Dawn 2010.

CSM Danjoint’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (4), Army Commendation Medal (4), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Award (3), Joint Service Achievement Award, Good Conduct Medal (8), National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Star, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service ribbon, NCO Development Ribbon (5) and the Overseas Service Ribbon (3).
