National Invasive Species Awareness Week

In honor of National Invasive Species Awareness Week, held from May 18 - May 22, 2020, the Invasive Species Leadership Team (ISLT) recognized the efforts of USACE team members to prevent, control and eradicate the presence of invasive species on USACE lands and waters.  For each day, the ISLT offered a brief snapshot of a few efforts occurring across USACE in the battle against invasive species.

Day 1


In honor of National Invasive Species Awareness Week, we want to recognize the efforts that each and every one of you do on a near daily basis to prevent, control, and eradicate the presence of invasive species on USACE lands and waters. Your tireless work to ensure the sustainability of our environment does not go unnoticed.

In honor of National Invasive Species Awareness Week, we will recognize a few efforts related to terrestrial pests.

In honor of National Invasive Species Awareness Week, we will recognize a few efforts related to aquatic nuisance species.
