    SYLVAN GROVE, Kan. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Wilson Lake have created an updated draft Shoreline Management Plan and are seeking public comments on the draft. The Shoreline Management Plan for Wilson Lake establishes policy and furnishes guidelines for the protection and preservation of the desirable environmental characteristics of the shoreline while maintaining a balance between public and private shoreline use.

(Jan. 30, 2017) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District has rescheduled a public workshop to provide input concerning the Cheatham Lake Shoreline Management Plan five-year review. The workshop is rescheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018 at the Ashland City Elementary School Library in Ashland City, Tenn. In case of inclement weather, please call the Cheatham Lake Resource Manager’s Office at (615) 792-5697 by 4 p.m. to verify scheduling.

    SAVANNAH, Ga. – The public can offer opinions and gain information on the proposed new shoreline management plan for Hartwell Lake during three upcoming workshops sponsored by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District. The Corps will hold public workshops in three communities March 21-23.
