The mission of the Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) Center of Expertise in Sustainability (CXS) is to help USACE meet the requirement of performing a LCCA for projects to minimize construction costs and owner operation and maintenance costs throughout the entire life of the structure. Particular emphasis is placed on sustainability, energy usage, and cost of building and systems ownership. LCCA is focused on evaluation of system and building alternatives to minimize long-term costs. The LCCA-CXS provides valuable services for USACE to utilize LCCA as a validation and decision tool in the planning, design and construction of buildings and energy related infrastructure projects.
ECB 2015-7 and ECB 2014-12 are provided to assist DoD planners and engineers in meeting the requirements of 10 CFR Part 436.
