NORFOLK, Va. – Hampton Roads-area college students, recent graduates and career professionals are invited to the Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Federal Careers Open House from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Jan. 8, in the district’s headquarters building at 803 Front St. here.
The event will feature multiple hiring managers from the district and other area federal agencies.
Current federal employees and job recruiters will provide information on federal job benefits, current job openings and the Federal Pathways Internship Program.
Multiple information sessions will be held throughout the day with introductions and opening remarks starting at 9 a.m. Federal agency briefs with a question-and-answer segment will be from 10-11 a.m., how to navigate and apply on USAJOBS from noon -12:30 p.m., and federal civilian career perspectives from 1-1:30 p.m.
All sessions will be streamed live on the district’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.
Participants are required to show a government-issued ID card, such as a driver’s license, to gain access to the event and urged to bring resumes and supporting documentation, as applicable.
