USACE TO HOST YOUTH HUNTERS AT ALLATOONA LAKE FOR ARCHERY DEER HUNT

MOBILE, Ala. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Allatoona Lake Operations Project Management Office announced today that an archery-only deer hunt for youth sportsmen will take place December 5-6 and December 13, 2020 at Victoria Campground. 

Each hunting area will be assigned by lottery during the safety day at Wildlife Action on November 21, 2020. A parent or guardian must accompany each youth hunter.  Each parent or guardian must possess a valid Georgia Big Game license but may not hunt.

Requests for reservations will be taken by phone only Monday through Friday beginning 8:00 am November 9, 2020 until 12:00 pm on November 16, 2020 or until all spaces are taken.  The available spaces will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
