      <description>WASHINGTON – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today that it will reissue 56 existing nationwide permits and issue one new permit for work in wetlands and other waters that are regulated by Section 404 of the Clean Water Act and/or Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899. One existing permit will not be reissued.

"Under President Trump's leadership, the Army Corps of Engineers has taken decisive action to cut bureaucratic red tape and refocus our mission on American prosperity,” said Adam Telle, the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works. “Ensuring that American citizens and businesses can chase their dreams and build our economy without needless delays is a clear victory for our ability to compete on a global stage during the 21st Century.”&lt;br/&gt;

      <description>The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) announces the release of updated ENG Forms 6116 (1-9), which are the wetland identification data sheets that are used for the ten Regional Supplements to USACE’s 1987 Wetland Delineation Manual. The ENG 6116 series forms received minor updates to 1) extend the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) expiration date and 2) update the soils sections to reflect the updates in the 2024 USDA-NRCS Field Indicators of Hydric Soils in the United States (Version 9.0). In conjunction with the release of the updated ENG 6116 series forms, USACE is also releasing updated versions of the Automated Wetland Determination Data Sheet (ADS), which have been updated to incorporate the updates in 1) the 2024 USDA-NRCS Field Indicators of Hydric Soils in the United States (Version 9.0) and 2) the 2022 National Wetland Plant List. These documents are available at the USACE Regulatory Headquarters Regional Supplements webpage in both Portable Document Format (PDF) and Microsoft Excel (Excel) file formats. The “User Guide for Automated Wetland Determination Data Sheets” is also available at that same location.&lt;br/&gt;

      <title>7 November 2024: USACE Antecedent Precipitation Tool (APT) Service Has Been Restored </title>

      <description>NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI), headquartered in Asheville, NC, has restored service to its data center following the impacts from Hurricane Helene. The USACE Antecedent Precipitation Tool (APT), which relies on the NOAA data, is once again operational. There may be some intermittent downtime as NOAA continues to restore and improve service. The APT Team is aware of this issue and therefore there is no need to submit additional error reports to the APT Team.&lt;br/&gt;
