Construction Waste Diversion and Mitigation Knowledge Resource

The Construction Waste Diversion and Mitigation Knowledge Resource serves to enhance the knowledge base and implementation of Net Zero Waste concepts throughout USACE in support of our stakeholders. A Net Zero Waste Installation is defined by the Army as "An Installation that reduces, reuses and recovers waste streams, converting them to resource values with zero solid waste disposed of at landfills." In this context, the Construction Waste Diversion and Mitigation Knowledge Resource is available to support stakeholders through all phases of design, procurement and construction of projects and the demolition of excess facilities. The team is actively engaged in providing training USACE-wide through webinars and other formats and is available to help assist in achieving measurable waste reduction.
