Federally Supported Community Vaccination Centers

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is working in support of FEMA – and in coordination with other federal, state, local and tribal partners – to synchronize the interagency response to the COVID-19 pandemic and mass vaccination center mission. This includes providing FEMA with design concepts, site assessments, and power assessments in support of federally supported community vaccination centers and the national effort to speed up the COVID-19 vaccination campaign.

USACE is providing FEMA with immunization facility concept design plans for walk-up, drive-through and mobile vaccination centers. Design efforts are coordinated with DHS and the CDC. The design concepts are intended to utilize existing infrastructure to develop community vaccination centers.
