    Memphis Team deployed to Louisiana in support of Hurricane Laura relief efforts

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District deployed a 13-member Emergency Power Planning and Response Team (PRT) to support Federal Emergency Management Agency's Hurricane Laura response, on Aug 26.

    USACE provides unified response to Hurricane Isaac

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Operations Center began closely tracking Hurricane Isaac, about a week before the storm actually made landfall as its predicted path became clearer. In advance of the storm making landfall, USACE had alerted several of its Planning and Response Teams even prepositioning them on the ground in the areas that were expected to be impacted by Isaac.

    USACE Honolulu District Supports Quake Catastrophe Response Exercise

    Several U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Honolulu District employees spent time training for emergency management deployments by participating in the Combined Response Mission Exercise Evergreen Quake 2012.
