U.S. Army Corps of Engineers releases Civil Works Strategic Plan

Washington (February 2, 2015) - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) today released its “Sustainable Solutions to America’s Water Resources Needs: Civil Works Strategic Plan 2014-2018” that articulates five goals that will guide USACE into the future. “This strategic plan presents USACE’s commitment to responsibly develop the Nation’s water resources, while protecting, restoring and sustaining environmental quality. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers releases report on coastal storm and flood risk in the North Atlantic region of the United States

BROOKLYN, NY - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers today released to the public a report detailing the results of a two-year study to address coastal storm and flood risk to vulnerable populations, property, ecosystems, and infrastructure in the North Atlantic region of the United States affected by Hurricane Sandy in October, 2012.
