Daylighting technology implemented at the USACE Seattle District Building
Federal Center South Building 1202 was a design-build project. The architect for the project incorporated the concept of biophilia into the design of the building which resulted in effective use of daylighting and interior floor plan layouts such that the outdoors could be viewed from virtually any place within the building. This promotes higher employee productivity and work place satisfaction.
